Le collège Daunou à Boulogne-sur-Mer accueille depuis la rentrée 2009 une section internationale franco-britannique pour des élèves français et étrangers, notamment anglophones.
Accessible aux classes de 6e et 5e, cette formation a pour but de faciliter l’intégration d’élèves anglophones dans le système éducatif français et de former les collégiens français à la pratique approfondie de la langue de Shakespeare. Les cours sont ainsi assurés en français pour les matières générales et en anglais pour les enseignements spécifiques.
Atout complémentaire, le Conseil général du Pas-de-Calais proposera dès la rentrée 2010 un internat de semaine, mixte, et confortable d’une quarantaine de lits.
Coût de l’opération : 2 000 000 euros financés par le Département.

Pierre Daunou Secondary school in Boulogne-sur-Mer: an international section on Britain's doorstep!
Since the start of the new school year in September 2009, the Daunou secondary school in Boulogne-sur-Mer has hosted a Franco-British international section for both French and foreign pupils, especially English speakers.
Accessible to both first and second formers, this training programme aims at enabling the integration of English-speaking pupils into the French education system and at training French school children to gain extensive practice in the language of Shakespeare. Lessons shall be given in French for core subjects and in English for specific classes.
There's more! As soon as school year 2010 starts, the Conseil général of Pas-de-Calais will offer a comfortable mixed seven-day boarding school with a capacity of about forty beds.
The total cost of the operation is estimated at 2 M € including taxes and is subsidised by the Department.
